GENOME: All genetic information (DNA) of an organism

GENE: Heritable factor that consists of a section of DNA that codes for a specific Proteins to influence specific characteristics

• Genes can code for Structural Proteins such as Collagen (skin), or Functional Proteins such as Haemoglobin
